Key locations required redundant networks to guarantee reliability. The McCormick engagement reduced number of providers from 7 to 5 supporting McCormick’s desire for a simplified network approach. Comparing the RFP responses proved to be challenging and time consuming for Sealed Air since offers were not apple to apples offers.

Sealed Air engaged Profiles Advisory Group to ensure an apple to apples comparison that met the current and future requirements of Sealed Air’s network. Profiles AG quickly revised specifications and a managed a new round of offers to ensure specifications and offers were comparative in nature. Detailed cost of conversion calculations were used to ensure a viable conversion plan for Sealed Air. Significant cost reductions and conversion credits were part of the negotiated agreement.

Profiles Advisory Group sourced, negotiated and contracted for corporate Wide Area Network Infrastructure and global voice service network for locations spanning 26 countries. Client used separate carriers for the Americas, Europe and APAC regions. A stated goal for Progress was to deploy a common carrier network to benefit from having a fully meshed network. Contract terms were restrictive with service levels deteriorating. Negotiation process included MPLS network for Europe and Asia, a migration of IP-VPN networks in the Americas to MPLS and a conversion to a more desirable carrier based on Progress Software historic service levels.
